Divorce.
No we are not talking about the life partner
here. Divorce in this case is one or more of the
business owners/partners deciding to move on and
wanting their stake money, profit and possibly a
slice of goodwill out of the business.
Departure.
This is a planned event regardless of whether it
involves the sale of the business or is some form of
succession.
This is what all business owners should be planning
for – a departure and a planned departure on known
terms.
